Lutheran Bible Translators (LBT) More Than Words Campaign
My role Videography · Interviews · Editing · Animation · Brand identity
The More Than Words Campaign consisted of a variety of design and video projects. This combined social media content, donor promotional content, stakeholder videos, and even a brand redesign. Below are some excerpts from that campaign.

Embracing Scripture — The Impact of the Komba Bible Translation
This project was made on location in northern Ghana to highlight the completion of the Komba New Testament.
My responsibilities were to capture interviews and b-roll and to find the story through the editing process. I worked with a missionary guide and local Komba leaders to identify locations and people who could help tell the story of what God was doing in Ghana, making sure the hero was the work itself with Lutheran Bible Translators as a partner.

The Need in Nigeria Social Post
This was a short for the More Than Words Campaign featuring two leaders from Nigeria talking about the need. I shot and interviewed both leaders with assistance from the Lutheran Bible Translators programs team. The bulk of the work was cutting down the edit and providing engaging animation over stock footage to get out an effective project with a quick turnaround.

Annual General Meeting Video
Made for stakeholders and donors of Lutheran Bible Translators. We shot on a green screen with two cameras. The challenge was keeping an informational video engaging. I learned a lot on this project, including the frustration of green screens and their limitations for fast turnaround.

Lutheran Bible Translators Logo and Brand Redesign and Case Statement
For this campaign, Lutheran Bible Translators was in need of a refresh for their brand identity. I designed a new logo and led a transition of assets, typography, and copy feel to help better tell the story and work that LBT was involved with around the world.
This can be further seen below in the included case statement, where photography, brand elements, type, and logo are all brought together.

Living Water, Experience Scripture
My role Identity design · Copywriting · Interviews · Lighting · Videography · Editing · Animation
Living Water is a project to take the Bible and have it sung as an engagement experience. The aim of the project was to promote more Bible engagement in North America the way that Bible translation promotes Scripture engagement and transformation abroad.
My task was to create the story and look of Living Water. This included a logo design, copywriting work, and some promotional videos. The logo and its animation may be seen in the videos below. Both videos were from a visit to the recording studio where Living Water was being produced. Out of it came a promotional video to tell the story of Living Water to potential donors and those who would engage with the project, as well as a deeper behind-the-scenes look with an interview from Khristian Dentley from Take 6.
I interviewed multiple musicians, set up and lit them, produced b-roll, and brought everything together in the edit with some stock video to bring the story together.

Impact Biblical Resources “Sacrificial Stones” Teaching Short
My role Videography · Editing · Closing animation
Impact Biblical Resources is an organization that brings the Bible to life through contextual videos shot in the Holy Land. This particular video’s edit is new as of a few weeks ago, but the footage was shot in September of last year.
The script was written by the teaching pastor in the video—Rev. Dr. Tom Zelt—with videography done by me. We used a combination of b-roll, drone shots, and dynamic speaker setups to create a feeling of being among the history of the teaching. Additional stills were used to help round out the edit, and I made a new animation for the closing bumper. This was shot on location in Israel.

Siem Reap School Number Three Dedication Video
My role Event videography · Same-day editing and delivery
Prince of Peace Ministries has funded the construction of three schools in Siem Reap, Cambodia. This video is event coverage of the dedication of the third school. The video is mainly event coverage and served as a congregational excitement piece for the home Prince of Peace church. I shot the dedication on Sunday morning in Cambodia and edited it that evening. Thanks to the time difference, the finished video reached the congregation in California for their 8:30 a.m. service that same Sunday. It was a test of my abilities and turnaround time, but it came out with a good product that created excitement in the church in a timely fashion.

Mission of Christ Network Website Redesign
My role Website design · User discovery · Copywriting support · Navigation design · Video editing
I helped move Mission of Christ Network through a redesign process, assisting in copywriting and user discovery, as well as providing new designs and even new navigational structure. The main page’s video was edited by me using assets from their missionaries and stock video.
